Land in our community is plentiful, both in industrial parks and undeveloped areas. Affordably priced land is one factor that allows companies to be more profitable in our region. Our communities have three publicly owned industrial parks that can meet any facility needs you may have.
Waycross Ware County Industrial Park
The Waycross Ware County Industrial Park, which is adjacent to the airport, was established in 1952. The park is home to over two dozen industries employing more than 2,600 people. The park offers excellent four-lane access to three interstates via US Highway 82 and US Highway 1.
CSX Transportation provides rail service to many of the companies in the park and can offer service to most of the remaining sites. Water, sewer, electric power, and natural gas are immediately available in the developed areas of the park.
Pierce County Industrial Park
The Pierce County Industrial Park is a 175 acre development along US Highway 84, providing direct four-lane access to I-75, I-95, and I-10. Rail access to the park is provided by CSX Transportation from their 850 acre Southeastern Transfer Facility located less than ten miles away in Waycross.
Waycross Corporate Center
The newly developed Waycross Corporate Center is a 215 acre development along U.S. Highway 82. The park is being developed to provide an up-scale alternative to our heavy industrial parks. The park will offer an attractive campus atmosphere with underground utilities, lighted roads, landscaped lots, and masonry buildings. Rail service is available from the CSX transfer facility located on the south side of the park. All utilities, including a fiber optics network, are available to the park.
