The Okefenokee Area can provide for all utility needs with no modification to our current facilities.

The water supply to our area is practically unlimited. We are fortunately positioned above the largest aquifer in the United States. We have a number of water pumps in our community and are capable of meeting any industrial demand at competitive rates.

Sewage Treatment is handled by two treatment plants with excess capacity of 3.97 million gallons per day which provides us with resources to support significant growth within our corporate and residential sectors.

Bell South offers modern high-tech fiber optics cable network in our community. T-1 lines and several POPs are available in the immediate area. The Okefenokee Area also offers a wide variety of telecommunication services through numerous carriers.

Georgia Natural Gas Companys Waycross Service Center is 1 of 37 that provide natural gas service to 1.4 million customers throughout Georgia and Tennessee. The Waycross Service Center serves residential, commercial and industrial customers in the city of Waycross as well as Ware, Pierce and Clinch Counties.

Electric Service is provided to Ware and Pierce Counties by Georgia Power, Oglethorpe Power, and MEAG power. All three companies have the resources to offer our community unique industrial power rates and incentives. High volume electricity users have the luxury of choosing amoung the three companies, a choice which provides a competitive market place for low cost electric rates.
